Land 125 Phase 3B Combat Hearing Protection Announcement

Defcon Technologies Group awarded 5-year Deed of Standing Offer under Army’s Land 125 Phase 3B Combat Hearing Protection Program.

Canberra, October 16, 2015

Canberra-based Defcon Technologies Group has been selected to supply Combat Hearing Protection (CHP) systems for the Australian Army’s LAND 125 Soldier Modernisation Program. The Deed of Standing Offer runs for five years, with options to extend, and will significantly enhance the hearing and communications of Army’s ‘Tier 2’ combat personnel.

Defcon Technologies will be providing S10 and V60 Hearing Protection and Communications Systems from long-term supply partner Invisio Communications.

The selection followed an extended and comprehensive user trial and evaluation period from an international field of contenders.

“Defcon Technologies and Invisio have been working together for over 15 years and much of our efforts have revolved around providing the ADF with the very best Tactical Communications and Hearing Protection solutions. We are proud to have been selected for the LAND 125 CHP program, which Defcon Technologies has been following in its various iterations since 2007”

“We look forward to working with the Project Team, the Australian Army and other Defence stakeholders over the next five years to deliver enhanced hearing protection and audio communications to our front-line combat personnel”
