TCR-MBA-75 and Bias Tee 2
JITC DAMA Certified 75 Watt Remote Multi-Band RF Power Amplifier with transmit and receive amplification across the 30-512 MHz band Suitable for vehicular, airborne, maritime, or fixed station applications and compatible with manpack and handheld multi-band military radios Weather-proof and can be remotely located near the antenna for optimum performance The Bias Tee 2, connected to the PA via a single coax cable, provides: remote control of the transmit power level, LNA operation, bypass capability; and selection of SATCOM, LOS, and frequency hopping modes of operation RS-232 port provides the ability to remote the operation of the system from a PC Each amplifier and Bias Tee 2 combination is shipped with one four foot DC power cable. The power cable is only shipped when the amplifier and Bias Tee 2 are ordered together. The DC cable can be purchased separately if needed using Tricom Part Number 1035-77200-00006.
TCR-MBA-75 (NBT)
Uses the same battle-proven technology and form factor as Tricom’s TCR-MBA-75 In response to customer requests, the requirement to use a remote control head (Bias Tee 2) has been eliminated and the operator controls have been reduced to four rugged push buttons on the amplifier’s front panel In addition to the controls, expanded LED indicators provide system status and operating conditions and greatly reduce the likelihood of damaged operating switches Installation is simplified with less cabling and a common connector interface panel Operation is simple and straightforward and all performance specifications are identical to the Bias Tee 2 equipped system including electrical, environmental, and physical mounting.
